RALEIGH, N.C. (May 8, 2006) – Vivian Marks has joined Serious Robots as post production producer. Marks will be responsible for estimating and scheduling post production, as well as client relations for the Raleigh, N.C.-based boutique that provides editorial, animation and visual effects for commercial spots and broadcast programming. Her duties will also include scheduling for Serious Robots’ sister company, Blazing Music + Sound.

With more than 20 years in broadcast and post production, Marks started her career at Vidtronics and later moved to The Post Group. She comes to Serious Robots via Dallas where she worked at Video Post & Transfer leading the company’s high definition push. Marks started as post production manager and later established the company’s HD division as the HD/long format producer. She also worked in Hollywood, Calif., as operations manager for View Studio and was instrumental in the start up and managing of several top post companies, including 525 Post, Cinesite and View Studio.
