DISTILLERY PICTURES GETS GREEN LIGHT FOR 'IT'S EASY BEING GREEN' SERIES

RALEIGH, N.C. (June 30, 2007) – Following the successful debut of its 1-hour special, the Fine Living network has commissioned Distillery Pictures to produce 6 half-hour episodes of the TV series It’s Easy Being Green.  Set to premiere in spring 2008, the show will continue to explore new eco-friendly trends and technologies, as well as fascinating people who have followed their passion for sustainable living.

“In our research for the special, we discovered a ton of great Earth-friendly stories,” said Executive Producer Scott Myers.  “We’re excited that Fine Living has given us the series as a platform to share the most fascinating, empowering, and fun storylines.”

The 1-hour special, which features actor Owen Wilson, motorcycle enthusiast Jesse James, and musician Alanis Morissette, generated significant press including USA Today, Entertainment Weekly, E!’s “The Daily 10”, and Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart”.  The series aims to continue that trend as each episode will feature at least one celebrity sharing their thoughts on the sustainable lifestyle.

Hosted by noted chef, author, and eco-consultant, Renée Loux, It’s Easy Being Green is executive produced by Distillery Pictures’ Jeff Lanter, and Scott Myers, as well as long-time Hollywood manager-producer Shep Gordon.
