DISTILLERY PICTURES GOES WEST FOR FIRST 'IT'S EASY BEING GREEN' JUNKET
RALEIGH, N.C. (August 15, 2007) – Distillery Pictures crews recently ventured to southern and northern California on its first production junket for the Fine Living network’s newly announced series It’s Easy Being Green. Stories include:
- A conversation between show host Renée Loux and Academy Award winning actress Helen Hunt
- A tour of Google’s headquarters to learn about the company’s sustainable practices
- An interview with Nell Newman of Newman’s Own Organics
- A feature on eco-fashion designers Karen Stewart and Howard Brown of Stewart + Brown
- An eco-consult with actor Grant Show and his new Hollywood restaurant
Other stories include an eco-entrepreneur who gives guests a tour of organic wineries in his bio-diesel powered van, a new mother’s nursery gets an eco-makeover, and a business that rescues airplane parts from landfill and transforms them into high-end art.
It’s Easy Being Green, set to premiere in spring 2008, is an eco-friendly lifestyle show that explores cutting edge trends, technologies, goods, and services in the emerging green marketplace, as well as fascinating people who have a passion for sustainable living.
