Meet the 2019 Summer Interns
posted
June 21, 2019

The Trailblazer Studios internship program is underway. This year’s application pool consisted of  close to 100 applications from schools across North Carolina and beyond. Here are the 2019 summer interns:

Sara Izzi | Production

Sara is a recent graduate from UNC Wilmington with a B.A. in Film Studies and Communication Studies. She was drawn to the internship because of Trailblazer’s unique structure of having all departments under one roof. This summer, she is looking forward to applying her love for production by working with and learning from the staff and her co-interns.

Sebastian Torron | Post-Production

Sebastian is enrolled in the Film and Television B.F.A program at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). As the post-production intern, his goal is to gain a better understanding of the tools and workflows that make the post-production process efficient for broadcast television.

Jordan Aucella | Production

Jordan attends Emerson College and is pursuing degrees in film production and marketing. He was attracted to Trailblazer’s facility and is excited for the opportunity to work hands-on with professionals in each department.

John Winburn | Development

John is also a student at SCAD where he is studying film and television. He applied to the internship program to learn more about television and will dig deeper into development which he hopes will challenge and expand his ability to think creatively.

Darian Erickson | Audio

Darian is a rising senior at UNC Wilmington, pursuing his B.A. in Music Technology. His eagerness to develop technical audio skills and desire to step out of his comfort zone made this internship program a great fit for him. He plans to take in all the information he can so he can apply what he learns when he returns to Wilmington in the fall.

(L-R): Sara, Darian, Jordan, John, and Sebastian
