KIKUYU LAND
Directors & Producers: Andrew H. Brown, Bea Wangondu

As a Nairobi journalist investigates a high-stakes land dispute involving local government officials and a powerful multinational corporation, long-buried wounds surface and deeply personal family secrets are revealed.
Trailblazer provided audio post services—including dialogue editing, sound design, and final mix—working closely with co-director Andrew H. Brown. This project continues our long-standing collaboration with Andrew, following our work together on KIFARU and BETWEEN THE RAINS. Constant elements in all of Andrew’s films are dramatic and eye-catching cinematography, masterful editing, emotional bespoke music scores, and immersive sound design and mixing.

WHEN A WITNESS RECANTS
Director & Producer: Dawn Porter
Producers: Miriam Weintraub, Jennifer Oko
In 1983, author Ta-Nehisi Coates learned that a 14-year-old boy had been murdered at his Baltimore middle school. Decades later, as Coates revisits the case, a devastating truth emerges: three innocent teenagers were wrongfully convicted and spent 36 years in prison—forever altering the lives of the accused, the witnesses, and their community.
Trailblazer provided post supervision, music supervision, and picture and sound finishing in close collaboration with Dawn Porter and her team at Trilogy Films. Trilogy is a longtime partner, and we’re honored to continue our work together across multiple films and series.
