Now entering its fourth season, “A Chef’s Life” follows Chef Vivian Howard and her husband who left the Big Apple to start a restaurant in her native North Carolina. Honoring her roots with local ingredients and traditional cuisine, her restaurant – Chef & the Farmer – incorporates a chef’s modern sensibilities with the ultimate Southern charm.
Documentary filmmaker Cynthia Hill teamed with Trailblazer Studios to deliver this Peabody award-winning cooking and food culture series that airs on PBS. And most recently, congratulations to Howard for winning a 2016 James Beard Award (the Oscars of the food world!) for Outstanding Personality/Host on “A Chef’s Life”!
