Mad fast at syncing dailies, Greg is Trailblazer’s puzzle master – in editing, not jigsaws. Greg takes raw footage and creates a cohesive, compelling story from the assortment of pieces.
Completely inappropriate but wildly funny, Greg once imported dialogue and music cues from various sources and cut them into the scene he was editing. Don’t worry, it was deleted immediately, but not before his colleagues got a glimpse of his comedic side.
If he’s not making magic behind an Avid, you¹ll find him spending time with his family, cooking up a mean gumbo or cruising in his ’67 GTO convertible. He has owned many classic muscle cars over the years. Ask him about it; he loves to talk cars.
With over 20 years of experience, Greg is a City of Angels native who started his career in the industry working with film. He’s proud of his work on Hollywood blockbusters including Meet Joe Black, Remember the Titans, and Iron Man – just to name a few. Cutting these feature films was the name of the game until 2010 when he chose to move to North Carolina.
Now you can find Greg at Trailblazer Studios cutting shows and the occasional pitch piece, sizzle reel or agency spot. His recent credits include Bringing Up Bates, and Salvage Dawgs. For ESPN, he edited an hour-long, documentary-style episode of the 30 for 30 series, and co-edited another documentary-style series, Bonds on Bonds.
