All the way from the West Coast, Shawn joined the Trailblazer Studios crew in 2014. He is a gifted online editor and colorist who can really punch up a project and make it shine. For each client, he brings his passion for creating and insight for storytelling, so each piece can reach its fullest potential whether it’s for television, internet and/or theatrical broadcast.
Shawn and his wife, Robin, are avid ice hockey fans. If you hear them cheering about something, it’s almost a guarantee that their favorite team, the L.A. Kings, are playing. Can someone say 2012 and 2014 Stanley Cup Champions?!
But it’s not all about the ice, Shawn adores playing carpet hockey with his son, Kade, and spending quality time with his family. Coming from L.A., there’s nothing quite like being able to share nature, wildlife and the clean NC air with the ones he loves.
In 2005, Shawn received his Communication degree with a specialty in Film, Television and Radio from the University of South Alabama. Afterwards, he worked in Los Angeles as online editor and colorist for companies including Magical Elves, Cort Howell Productions, and Full Screen. He online and colored a multitude of projects, including Braxton Family Values, Tamar and Vince, Best Bars of America, Top Chef, Top Chef Masters, the documentary “Hunger Hits Home,” the Sour Patch Kids web series “Breaking Out” and an infomercial Zumba.
Very passionate about color, Shawn has quickly become one of our most sought after colorists since joining Trailblazer in 2014.
